The Concept. WHY SPOONS?

Do you now the English proverb which says that wealthy people are born with a silver spoon in the mouth?

Gifting a silver spoon was and still is a ritual that convey message of health & wealth. Silver has always been known for its purification properties. The nobles were used to eat with silverware because silver helped to fight bacteria and guarantee more chances to survive from diseases.

In the north of Europe there’s a tradition to welcome a new born baby with a small silver spoon. In Italy, our country, the spoon is associated with feeding and delighting.
